Terms of Service

Worknest is a software platform operated by PINSKKIY INC ("Worknest", "we", "us"). By using Worknest you agree to these terms. Use the service only for lawful business purposes.

What Worknest is

Worknest gives small service and food businesses the tools to run their work: send estimates and invoices, publish a public business profile, receive job requests, and take orders.

Worknest is a platform and a tool provider, not a seller. For food orders the cook is the seller and merchant of record: she prepares and sells the food, the payment is made to her, and her business name is what appears on the customer's card statement. Worknest provides the software and facilitates the payment. Worknest does not prepare, inspect, handle, package or deliver food. For every other service, the business using Worknest is the seller and Worknest facilitates payment between that business and its customer.

Food on Worknest is prepared and sold by independent cooks. If something is wrong with an order — the food, the listing, or the seller — tell us, and we may pause that shop while we look into it.

Sellers are responsible for what they sell

Each business using Worknest is solely responsible for what it offers, describes, prices and delivers, and for complying with every law that applies to its business.

For food sellers specifically, the seller is solely responsible for food safety, preparation, labelling, allergen disclosure, and compliance with all applicable food, health and cottage-food laws and permits in their jurisdiction. Worknest does not prepare, inspect, handle or deliver food, and makes no representation about any seller's food or compliance.

Prices and payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.

The price you see already includes Worknest's service fee. Nothing is added at checkout. For food orders, Worknest's fee is built into the price shown on the shop page; the price the cook sets for a dish is the amount she receives for it, and tips and delivery fees pass to her in full. Worknest pays the card-processing cost out of its own fee.

Because the cook is the merchant of record, a refund is issued from her account. Where her balance cannot cover it, Worknest advances the funds so the refund is not delayed, and recovers the advance from her later sales.

Chargebacks are raised against the cook's account and are handled under Stripe's process; Worknest submits the order record on her behalf. For other services, refunds, cancellations and disputes follow the applicable order flow and the seller's own policies.

Ordering, cancelling and refunds — food

• Before the business accepts: you can cancel and are refunded in full.
• If the business does not accept within 60 minutes: the order is cancelled and refunded automatically, and you are told by text message. You do not have to do anything.
• Once accepted: contact the business to change or cancel.
• Orders not picked up are not refunded.
• There is a $15 minimum order on Worknest. A business may set a higher minimum for its own shop.

This is the policy shown to you at checkout, before you pay.

Messages

Worknest sends transactional email and SMS about payments and orders only. We send no marketing messages.

As a customer you may receive: an order-accepted confirmation, an order-ready notice, a notice that an order was cancelled and refunded, a notice that an order was refunded because it was not confirmed in time, a notice of a partial refund, a reply from the seller to a question you asked about your order, and — only if you asked for it — a notice that a shop you were waiting on has opened. That is a few messages per order at most.

Accounts

A business account can be deleted in the app at any time. An account cannot be deleted while paid orders are still open — hand them over, or cancel and refund them, first. What is deleted and what is kept is described in the Privacy Policy.

Service provided "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PINSKKIY INC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts, goods or services of any seller using the platform. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, and may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
